Background Info
I’ve spent my entire career at the intersection of creative services, marketing, and sales—holding roles from Illustrator, Designer, Art Director, Creative Director to VP of Sales and Director of Marketing, and eventually, Principal/Owner.
It really started to 'click' during my junior year attending Franklin & Marshall College, my creative path took off after a chance meeting with Herwig Schutzler of Donnelly Cartographic. He saw potential in my calligraphy and introduced me to mapmaking—soon, my hand-rendered maps and diagrams were being published nationally in textbooks.
After graduation, I had the privilege of painting alongside Lloyd Ken Townsend, a former National Geographic artist. Ken's mastery and mentorship fueled my passion for illustration and ignited my lifelong habit of collecting original works from the talented illustrators I met along the way.
My own artistic technique reflects this unique background: rooted in map rendering, guided by storytelling, and executed works with paper towel 'stumps' more than brushes—scrub, rub, remove and blend. It’s a style born of precision, passion, and the people who inspired it.
One of the greatest honors was having all my sisters travel in for my featured art show on First Friday. Pictured here with our mom are my sisters—(left to right) Barb, Ginny, and Chris. They've shown up for every show, every time.
